Bowel cancer is the second highest cause of death by cancer in the UK, yet it remains very treatable if caught early. All too often, people are unaware of the signs and symptoms, or simply too embarrassed to speak up. And the later the diagnosis the lower the likelihood of beating the disease.

To plug a funding gap in the southwest and ensure people have the best possible chance of beating the disease, Bowel Cancer West is a charity that provides education and training to the healthcare community, funds vital research and campaigns to raise the profile of bowel cancer.

It’s an exciting time for the charity, which has experienced significant growth over the past two years. To help lead the charity to the next level by significantly increasing the amount of income we commit to our aims and helping raise the profile of bowel cancer, we are seeking an experienced senior executive to help lead our cause.
