Derriford team scaling new heights
Head shaves, cake bakes, and climbing a mountain. As if their day jobs weren't busy enough, the pelvic floor team at Plymouth Derriford Hospital are getting ready to climb Snowdon for Bowel Cancer West!
A marathon fund raising effort sees the team go to the Welsh mountain in June.
Colorectal surgeon Wesley Lai agreed to have his head shaved to kick start the fundraiser, which currently stands at just over £3,000
One of the organisers, Sharon Stephens, said: "
"We know it is a difficult time financially for everyone, but if you can spare a few quid to sponsor us on our mission to raise funds for a very worthy cause and one close to all our hearts, we would all be very grateful."
