Devon and Cornwall Backyard Ultra
One of the world’s fastest growing running events – Backyard Ultra – is back in Devon for a 3rd year.
The event, at Newnham Park, in Plympton, near Plymouth, is being held on the weekend of August 31st 2024.
Backyard is a form of marathon event where competitors run in circuits of 4.167 miles.
Each circuit starts on the hour, and must be completed in less than 60 minutes. When each lap is completed, the remaining time within the hour is typically used to recover for the next hour’s circuit.
