April is Bowel Cancer Awareness Month - Have you completed our survey?

It’s BOWEL CANCER AWARENESS MONTH throughout April, which means the topic is in the public eye. You may have recently filled in a survey about bowel cancer, or encountered the topic in the news.

The sad fact is that awareness about bowel cancer is still worryingly low, despite it being one of the biggest causes of cancer deaths in the UK. So we have commissioned consumer research to investigate public awareness of bowel cancer in the Westcountry.

Our research will measure local understanding of the disease, its symptoms, prevention and awareness of screening programmes. We are polling 1,000 adults in the South West and the survey is live on www.onepoll.com for a few more days.

Will Bristolians prove more cancer-conscious than Devonians? Is it the region’s ladies or gentlemen living healthier lifestyles?  When the results are in, we will share on this website in the coming weeks. Please visit again to find out more.
