Cycle Ride- Plymouth to Ilfracombe
Join the 5th Annual Cycle Ride and set yourself a challenge to cycle from Derriford Hospital to Ilfracombe in aid of Bowel Cancer West.
There will be cycling, scenery, sun, sea, sand, good food and company. The route will be fully supported by vehicles loaded with food/spares and recovery if necessary. All abilities welcome.
THE ROUTE:
Route 1: 80 miles - A relaxed/social ride taking in the beautifully Devon scenery along national cycles routes 27 & 3
Route 2: 90 miles - A steeper route via some of Dartmoor's finest hills!
Both routes meet for lunch in Hatherleigh
THE COST: £60 for each rider which includes food, camping, BBQ and breakfast. Camping available for friends & family, all welcome (additional cost for camping). Everything needed for camping will be loaded at Derriford and transported to Mill Park Campsite. Transport available back to Derriford on Sunday.
Please provide own tent. Dogs welcome at Mill park.
*A small fundraising target of £50 will be suggested for each rider to help fund a local research project to: “Evaluate new technologies for young patients with bowel cancer in the south west”
