On Monday 17th October at 8.00pm a ‘Fund Raising Bazaar’ for Bowel Cancer West was held at Boringdon Park Golf Club, Plympton. This was a fantastic evening for all with a number of craftware stands with great ideas for Christmas presents from a range of local independent traders, along with a whole host of stands with locally made cakes, gifts and toys. Traders included: Phoenix Cards, The Pampered Chef, Good Bag Co, Jamie at Home, Divine Earth Soap, Dotty Chic Home-wares, Devonly Crafty hand-made gifts, Devon Glass Studio, Beads of Time Jewellery and Charming Jewellery, Ticket prices for entry were £3 which included coffee, and £2 for children. Well done to Tracey Turner and her friends for organising such a successful event and raising £800.00 for Bowel Cancer West - a fantastic result!
